Indonesia Customs Compliance Enforcement Updates

In accordance with Ministry of Finance decree number 70/PMK.04/2007 article 14  all consignments Imported into Indonesia which are not Customs cleared within 30 days will be reported to Indonesia Customs by the 5th of every month for an inspection prior to transfer to Customs Airport storehouse.  The consignment will then become   'Goods without owner' and after this the responsibility of clearance will be on the receiver.

In view of the above, please ensure that prior to export, the receiver in Indonesia has all the relevant import license, permit, and/or certificates for a seamless Import clearance process.
