BROADCAST - COUNTRY EMBASSIES IN SOUTH AFRICA - NEW COLLECTION REQUIREMENTS 

Herewith are the new requirements that have been implemented by the embassies with immediate effect. 

The authorisation letter must be furnished with the following information: 

·        Application number 
·        Date of application 
·        Recipients full names 
·        ID number /Passport number /Date of Birth 
·        A short description of the article / consignment that is being collected. 
·        Recipient to sign the Authorisation letter. 

A waybill /connote needs to be accompanied with the Authorisation letter for record purposes. 

This new process is intended to curb fraudulent activities and safe guard the applicants.
