Please note
that Korea customs authorities will impose penalties in cases where wrong
descriptions are transmitted to KR customs from 01/Oct.
Descriptions entered
into systems should be true and clear to avoid any customs penalty.
KR
customs will impose penalties in cases such as below, where vague and
meaningless/unclear descriptions are provided.
1) Numbers or alphabetic
characters are unacceptable as descriptions, e.g. 0, 1, 11, 123 , A, AA, AAA,
ACC and etc
2) Special character words are unacceptable as
descriptions, e.g. 1, @, #, $, %, &, *, ^ and etc
3) Meaningless
words are unacceptable as descriptions, e.g. Sample, Parts, Accessory, Goods,
Gift, Products, Article, Material, present and etc.
