Export Controls - Sanctions on Iran and Syria

Please be informed that there is a change to the Iran And Syria Sanctions statement is being made.

That change is in relation to the addition of a sentence re "No Licensee Required"
The United Nations, United States and European Union, among others, have recently introduced additional economic sanctions and restrictions against transactions with Iran and Syria.

The Export Control department in collaboration with Corporate Customer Service, has enhanced the already published documents to provide you with the most updated information regarding this.

Please, find attached the "Quick Reference Guide and the Customer Statement" which will provide you with all the necessary details related to the actions that need to be taken by our Operational team's in order to comply with the new enhanced restrictions and sanctions.  

Action required:
Please ensure your Operational team's fully understand the contents of the attached "QRG" and that the "Customer Statement" (page 2 of the PDF) is completed by each customer for EVERY shipment they send to these two countries (this includes Documents, Non Docs, Freight, Special Services etc - all shipments). Note that this is a "Customer Statement" and they MUST COMPLETE this, not TNT.  FYI: we will commence to distribute a periodic report that will be able to keep track that each statement been completed for every shipment sent.
