Dear
Customer(s),
This is for your
information.
SWEDEN - Changes to
Customs Clearance
With immediate
effect as of Thursday 27th September, Swedish Customs are changing the
requirements for Import and Export Customs clearance.
SE Import
Clearance
Instead of the
current 11 days for Final Import Clearance, Swedish Customs now require full
final Import Clearance to be submitted and approved / released before the
Customs Controlled material can be Delivered.
Similarly,
SE Export
Clearance
Instead of the
current 11 days for Final Export Clearance, Swedish Customs now require full
final Export Clearance to be submitted and approved / released before the
Customs Controlled material can be Exported.
These new
changes may cause some delays for both inbound and outbound Customs Controlled
Consignments, so please ease and avoid escalations. All held consignments will
be updated with appropriate negative customs clearance status code.
