Qatar - Important Reminder of Import requirements

Penalties and Fines :  

In order to be released by Customs all imports must be accompanied with the correct original documentation.  Previous broadcasts have been issued and updates made in TWIG detailing the paperwork required for goods entering Qatar and origins are requested to familiarise themselves with these requirements.  If the paperwork is missing or incomplete it will result in penalties and fines being levied which will be passed onto the receiver.  

Storage charges are applied after three working days until final release from Customs, therefore any delay in supplying the correct paperwork will incur additional charges and these will be passed onto the receiver.  


Incoterms :

It is mandatory to have Incoterms mentioned on the connote / Invoice, any consignment arriving without Incoterms indicated will be considered as DDU.
