The Clearance activity  has been effected badly  ,specially Express/Courier clearance due to internal issues with EICI and Customs authorities since last Friday. This has resulted in slow down in customs clearance by custom officers.

Backlog has piled up due to Diwali holidays and the current issue ,  pendency on formal clearance is 60+ and no assessment has been take care  on valuation and adjudication cases by detention customs staff.

Also no sample has been drawn and seal for the purpose of no objection from various authorities i.e WLRO ,TTC and ADC as customs administration staff also has gone on a go slow.

Please keep all your customers informed and reduce the escalations for gateway.
