Important Service update about ABU-DHABI- UAE for commercial Shipments, Please ensure compliance below listed documents to avoid any penalty to consignee. Please take care and brief the same to customer as well

 Customs clearance at Abu Dhabi GTWY

 Shippers to provide below listed documents for shipments destined to Abu Dhabi(UAE)with value exceeding USD 13585/- (AED 50,000/-).

Such documents to be either sent along with the shipments or forwarded to AUH GTWY under separate AWB as explained below.

Clearance of shipments without required documents will be delayed.

 Documents required:

Original Invoice with Shipper Rubber stamp & signature and Chamber of commerce stamp.

Original Certificate of Origin with Chamber of commerce stamp

 No Performa invoice is accepted even it is attested by chamber of commerce.

 No imprint stating “ORIGINAL” or “TRUE COPY” can be accepted if it’s not stamped by Chamber of commerce at origin.

 The consignee can clear shipment after paying a deposit of AED 2000/- if both documents are missing and AED 1000/- if either one of the documents missing.

Deposit can be claimed back within 60 days from Abu Dhabi Customs Authorities upon submission of original documents.

 If original documents are not sent along with the shipment, due to export formalities then original documents to be sent under FOC to:

DHL Express, AUH GTW, Abu Dhabi, UAE, Attn: Loreine Zaballa.

In description of contents please mention “original document for shipment waybill no xxx xxxx xxxx” to make it easy to identify that they are original documents for clearance.

 Above requirement is updated in GREF also.
