We are seeing a surge in shipments containing musical instruments (tabla’s, Sittars) etc. being connected on our network and we once again want to remind you and your acceptance teams to be more vigilant when accepting these shipments.

·         These shipments are mostly from walk-in-customers so please ensure 100% verification of valid KYC’s.

·         Please be more vigilant when shipments are being sent to Canada, Australia and Far East.

·         These shipments contain large hollow spaces where there is a possibility of non-compliant stuff being hidden.

·         While these shipments invariably cannot be opened, we advise you to shake the same and gauge the weight of these shipments to see if any non-compliant stuff is in it.

Customs are holding these shipments and are asking for the actual shipper to be present where these shipments are being opened and physically checked.

We once again request your staff to adhere to all process’ and continue to do 100% physical checks while accepting shipments.
