EDI system will be down for 24 hours from 3rd April,2011 2.00pm to 4th April,2011  11.00 am. Even after this period, delays may be experienced by users at all locations under 1.5 till the migration process is complete by the 5th April,2011.Therefore we advise to please keep updated your Customers on this Important and Critical matter and please do not put Pressure on our Team for Immediate Clearance.

SUB:  Migration by IGIA EDI System to Ices 1.5
 
 
Members are already informed of the JNCH timetable to migrate to the new ICES 1.5 system.
As has been experienced in the past during migration of large centres like Sahar Air Cargo, Chennai Air and Sea Customs etc., the ICES as well as the ICEGATE Servers gets congested during the migration process due to the voluminous data that is transferred from the old version 1.0
This integration is a very complex process and while the migration is on, the existing services of ICES as well as ICEGATE have to be either suspended or work at very low capacity to enable proper migration.
We have received information of stoppage of  all activity at every location in the country for a period of 24 hours from 3rd April,2011 2.00pm to 4th April,2011  11.00 am. Even after this period, delays may be experienced by users at all locations under 1.5 till the migration process is complete by the 5th April,2011.
Members should keep their clientele informed of this  developments.
