The minimum value for express consignment has been set up in Vietnam for the first time. 
From 1 Feb. 2011, all consignment with customs value (CIF) under VND 1 million (approx. USD50) will exempted from tax/duties. 
Please be reminded that the customs re-evaluation process will take place and any violence to the regulation, esp. wrong description of goods commodity and under value invoice, will lead to the customs fine.
