Botswana - Civil servants national strike                 

Civil servants in Botswana embarked on a national strike starting today the 18th of April. Current indications show that the strike will continue for a minimum period of 10 days and that the Botswana boarder post will be closed during the duration of the strike. 

South Africa will not be sending any freight to Botswana using the road linehaul for the duration of the strike.  All freight will be consolidated and sent via Air linehaul. 
Freight for Namibia will be sent using the road linehaul via Upington.
