Botswana - Mandatory documentation requirements 

All international material destined for Botswana must be accompanied with the following documentation: 

Air waybill - Fully completed with all relevant detail 
Suppliers invoice  (no pro-forma invoice will be accepted) 

                Supplier invoice must contain the following: 

                1. Clear description of goods 
                2. Correct value of goods (Under declared values will result in Customs penalties) 
                3. Sender name and address 
                4. Receiver name and address 
                5. Freight amount must be on the invoice         
                (If shipment is from ZA to BW invoice must have Exporters code and VAT registration number on the invoice) 

Documents into Japan 

Japan can accept only PURE DOCUMENT as 15D. 
Therefore CD, DVD, Plastic cards,Bankbook, Passport and this kind are not acceptable as 15D. They must be shipped as 15N with an invoice. 

Non compliance would cause delay in customs clearance , not only with the particular con but with the whole freight it was consolidated.
