Global Express (Non dox) Consignments Addressed to Individuals - QATAR

QATAR Customs  have implemented a new law for all import personal shipments.  

All personal shipments (Global Express Non Dox) are required to have a copy of the Individual's ID at the point of clearance. Going forward, any personal shipments should have an copy of consignee ID attached with the shipment. If receiver doesn't have an ID or cannot provide the ID then the shipment cannot be cleared and will be abandoned in customs.
